Which service do I need?
The service you need depends on the property and the reason. This table shows who each one is for, how often it comes up and where the rule comes from:

What should I have ready before I send an enquiry?
Four details help us match your enquiry:
- the service, for example an EPC or a gas safety certificate
- the property's postcode
- whether it is a home or business premises
- whether it is being sold, let or already occupied
It also helps the professional who contacts you if you know the property's size, any certificate it already has and the type of fire alarm system.
Can I arrange more than one check for the same property?
Yes, you can send enquiries for as many of the five services as the property needs. Send one enquiry for each service and use the same postcode each time. For a rented home, a landlord may need an EPC, a gas safety check and an electrical inspection. Each has its own timing. Our services page shows all five together.
What if my postcode is outside these towns?
You can still send an enquiry for any of the five property safety services. If a participating professional starts covering your area, we will contact you. Whether we can match an enquiry depends on where the property is and who is available.
